In this article we will discuss how you can update your tax withholding information within Oracle.

1. From your Oracle homepage, select Pay
2. Choose Tax Withholding.
3. There are two separate sections that you can view. Federal at the top and Regional (or State,) at the bottom.
4. To edit your Federal tax information, click on the pencil in the right hand corner.
5. The first thing you will be asked to confirm is the date in which this change will take place. If it is an immediate change, you can leave the date as is. By default, Oracle will automatically populate the current date in this box. If the change will take place in the future, select that date from the calendar icon.
6. Move down to the next section where you can update your tax information accordingly. This information is basically the same questions as your current W4.
7. Once you are finished adding in the desired information, make sure to check off the disclaimer at the bottom confirming that you have answered the questions on the page to the best of your knowledge.
8. Press Save and Close.
9. Your Federal information has now been updated. If you would like to download a copy of your W4 for your records, you can do so by clicking on the Federal hyperlink under Forms.
Regional Tax Information
If you move down to the bottom section, you will see a spot for you Regional (or State) information. There isn't any information populated in this section as it is based on where you live. If you wish to update this information, follow these instructions.
1. In the Regional section, press the Add button in the upper right corner. Select Add Tax Withholdings from the drop down menu.
2. You will be asked to once again confirm the date of when this change will be effective. As with Federal, if it is an immediate change, you can leave the date as is. By default, Oracle will automatically populate the current date in this box. If the change will take place in the future, select that date from the calendar icon.
3. Choose from the menu what value you would like to add. In this example we will choose State Taxes.
4. Enter in the State.
5. Fill out the State Tax Information accordingly.
6. Once you are finished adding in the desired information, make sure to check off the disclaimer at the bottom confirming that you have answered the questions on the page to the best of your knowledge.
7. Press Save and Close.
Your State Information has now been updated. If you would like to download a copy of your Withholding Allowance Certificate for your records, you can do so by clicking on the state hyperlink under Forms.
