Moodle 4.0: Setting up Safe Exam Browser

The Safe Exam Browser is a feature offered within the Moodle platform that allows teachers to place extra restrictions on exams given using the Moodle Quiz feature. The restrictions enabled when using this browser are meant to limit the student's actions when taking a quiz and help prevent them from using alternative means to assist them with the quiz questions.

Please keep in mind that there are minimum system requirements that a student must have on their device in order for the Safe Exam Browser to work properly. Teachers should allow time in advance for students to download the SEB software on to their computer to ensure they are able to access the quiz successfully.

At this time, Android devices and Chrome books are not supported by the Safe Exam Browser.
