This article will walk you through how to change your Course Format. By default, the course format is set to a Weekly Format, which outlines your course according to how many weeks are in a semester starting with the first day of school, and ending with the last week according to the Registrar's calendar.
There is alternative course format that you can choose called Topics Format. This type allows you to outline your course according to a series of topics.
Here is an example of what your course looks like as the default Weekly Format:
To change your course format to Topics Format, follow these instructions:
1. Navigate to the Course Admin Settings at the top of the page. Press Settings.
2. Scroll down until you see the Course Format section. Expand it if you need do.
3. From the Format drop down menu, choose Topics format.
4. Press Save and Return to Course
Your course should now be set up as Topics Format.
