OneLogin - Basics (Video & Instructions)

This article will walk you through the basics of getting started with OneLogin. OneLogin is what you will use to access all of the applications on campus with just one password. 

If you are a staff member reading this article, please note that OneLogin credentials will not work for CARS or CX.

Logging into OneLogin

  1. To access OneLogin, open up a browser window and type in http://wagner.onelogin.com/
  2. Enter in your user name or Wagner email address and press Continue

  1. Enter in your OneLogin password and press Continue

  1. Upon logging in, the first thing you will see is your OneLogin Dashboard. This houses all of the applications that are accessible with your OneLogin credentials. Frequents are all of the applications that you access the most. If you do not see an application on that list that you are looking for, click Apps:Everything.

  1. From here you can click any of the applications you see and it will allow you to easily access them without having to enter in your log in credentials. 

 

 

Other things that are important concerning OneLogin is knowing how to change your password if necessary and how to set up your SMS Security factor in case you forget your password and would like to reset it without having to go to the Help Desk. All of these things are accessible from your Profile.

 

Accessing Your Profile

  1. To access all of these settings, navigate to the upper right corner to your initials and from the menu, select Profile. 

  1. The first thing you will want to do is enter your cell phone number in the Profile section. This is especially important when setting up your SMS Security Factor. 

Changing your Password

  1. The next thing you will want to take note of is how to change your password. Please note, this process is only if you know what your current password is and would like to change it to something else. Select Change Password. 
  2. Enter in your current password first. Enter in your new password below making sure to follow all of the security requirements. ​​​​​​Press Update Password.

Setting up SMS Security Factors

  1. It is important set up your SMS security factor in the event that you forget your password and you would like to reset it without going to the Help Desk.
  2. Select Security Factors. 
  3. Click Add Factor.

  1. Select OneLogin SMS. 

  1. You will get a code sent to the cell phone number that you entered previously. Enter the code and press Continue. 

  1. You have now successfully set up your device.

Resetting a Forgotten Password

  1. If you forget your password, click Forgot Password at the OneLogin login screen. 

  1. Enter in your user name or Wagner email. Press Continue.

  1. Choose OneLogin SMS

  1. A code will be sent to your cell phone. Enter the code in the box. Press Continue.

  1. You will be asked to reset your password. Make sure to follow all of the security requirements.
  2. Press Submit.
