To promote safety, the printers in the Library and Spiro Labs have been configured to release print jobs from a mobile app in order to avoid having to touch the printer LCD screen.
To enable touchless printing, please download the Uniflow app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Once you've downloaded the app to your device, please follow the instructions below to retrieve your print jobs.
- You can continue to print to the Library and Lab printers in the same fashion you always have - either using the Print options from an application on one of the computers or my emailing a document from your computer or mobile device to mobileprint@wagner.edu.
- Each printer that will allow for touchless print job release will have a QR code showing on the LCD screen.
- When you've sent your document to print, you can retrieve your print job at any one of the Library or Lab printers with the QR code. Simply open the app and look for the QR code symbol at the top of the screen.
- Scan the QR code on the LCD panel of printer with your mobile device.
- You'll be prompted to log in. Use your Active Directory (WiFi/Computer) Login. You can optionally choose to store these credentials so you aren't prompted again.
- Once authenticated, you will see all the print jobs that you have sent to the printer.
- You can select which items you would like to print and hit the wrench icon to adjust any output settings.
- Select the printer icon to release the print job and have it print immediately.
