Using Dial In Option as a Participant on a Webex Session

The ability to dial in with your phone to a session on Webex is now available. This would mean that you do not need your computer microphone to communicate with the host and other participants. See below on instructions on how to do so:

1. When a host shares meeting information, they should also share call in information associated with that meeting. If they don't share this information, it is easy to find. When you go to connect to a meeting, connect as normal. When the box pops up asking for how you want to connect, click where it says Use Computer for Audio and select Call In.

2. Once you start the meeting, instructions to call in will come up. Use these instructions to call in.

3. If you change your mind and want to use your microphone instead, click the little phone button at the bottom of the screen.

4. Choose Use Computer for Audio. You will now be connected to the session with your computer's internal microphone.
