This article will show you how to alert students of a change made to previously created content on your Moodle page.

This feature is accessible from the settings of whatever item you are interested in notifying the students about. Once you are in the settings of that item, scroll down to the very bottom of the screen. Check off the Send Content Change Notification box and make sure to save the changes.
A Moodle notification and email will be sent to the students letting them know that a change has been made to that particular item. It will not tell them what exact changes have been made, but it will let them know which course the changes have been made to, which item it is, and will also provide a link for the student to easily access it.
