A topic summary is used to give a brief explanation to participants regarding what they will learn about in a particular week or topic on their course Moodle page.
To create a topic summary follow these instructions:
- As with any time you would like to make a change to your page, the first step is to navigate to the upper right hand corner of your page and turn your editing on by toggling the Edit mode switch.

- Navigate to the week or topic in which you would like to include a topic summary on.
- Find the Edit menu for that week or topic, click it, and select Edit week/topic

- Write a summary about what participants can expect. Press Save Changes.

5. You should now see your topic summary
