How to access your RingCentral extension remotely
RingCentral extensions can be accessed remotely via the web, desktop application or mobile application. This knowledge base article will describe how to access your extension via the web and the desktop application. Both of these interfaces operate the same so regardless of which you choose to use, the following information will apply.

The following are instructions on how to log into RingCentral using the web based application.
1. Open up Chrome and type https://app.ringcentral.com in the address bar.
2. Click Sign in.
3. Click Single Sign-On
4. Verify your Wagner email in the box. Press Submit.
5. You will be prompted to enter your OneLogin password.
6. You have now successfully logged into RingCentral.
The following are instructions on how to log into RingCentral using the desktop application.
1. Follow the instructions above to access RingCentral from your browser first
2. In the upper right corner, click your profile button.
3. From the list choose Download and then Desktop app.
4. The download should start automatically. Once the it has finished downloading, run the file to install the app.
5. Once it downloaded, open the app. Click Sign in.
6. Click Single Sign-On
7. Verify your Wagner email in the box. Press Submit.
8. You will be prompted to enter your OneLogin password.
9. You have now successfully logged into RingCentral.
With both of these processes, you will be prompted to verify your E911 settings in order to report the correct address to the police if calling 911 through the RingCentral extension. Click Confirm address now.
- Enter the address for your current location, click Confirm.
- You can make a phone call by clicking the dialpad icon in the upper right corner of the RingCentral app window.
- On the left pane, you will be able to see all made/received calls, missed calls and voicemail. Voicemail will also be sent to your email.
