Creating a Topic Summary

A topic summary is used to give a brief explanation to participants regarding what they will learn about in a particular week or topic on their course Moodle page.

To create a topic summary follow these instructions:

  1. As with any time you would like to make a change to your page, the first step is to navigate to the upper right hand corner of your page to the gear menu, click it, and select Turn Editing On.
  2. Navigate to the week or topic in which you would like to include a topic summary on.
  3. Find the Edit menu for that week or topic, click it, and select Edit week/topic

  1.  Write a summary about what participants can expect. Press Save Changes.
